Man accused in Albuquerque gun store thefts pleads not guilty

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man accused of some high profile crimes including a pair of Albuquerque gun store thefts has pleaded not guilty to the burglaries.

Monday in court, the judge set 21-year-old Reymundo Lucero’s bond at $15,000 cash or surety, which means he only needs $1,500 to get out of jail.

In December, four men were seen on surveillance video breaking into Warriors Edge Armory and Butch’s Gun Shop.

He also got away from police when he lied, saying he lived at a home when he was actually burglarizing it.

Lucero is also believed to be a part of a violent juvenile gang.
