ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Residents in the Heights will once again be able to walk down the street to pick up their mail. They now have new mailbox clusters.
This, after thieves took off with their old mailboxes Saturday morning. It left people living near Juan Tabo and Montgomery stunned when they discovered the crooks, completely unbolted had taken two cluster boxes.
The Postal Service installed new ones Monday. It says for now, those people still need to go to the Post Office to pick up their mail until they get new keys.
