Century 14 in Downtown held a special viewing on Saturday morning.
“I stayed up watching it, she stayed up doing the shirts,” explained Debbie Barnsley
The glitz, glam and of course, tiaras, were out in full force for some excited fans.
5,000 miles and one ocean away from Windsor Castle, Americans, including some New Mexicans were overjoyed to celebrate Harry and Meghan’s big day.
“We’re here today to see the royal wedding, we’re really excited about it,” said Kara Tirone.
The Century theater Downtown was one of many around the country giving fans a look at the royal wedding on the big screen.
“We got up at the crack of dawn this morning and watched the wedding because we were really excited and it’s just a nice way to celebrate those two getting married,” explained Kyle Schoenberger.
It wasn’t the typical union for British royalty. Many were eager to see the new American princess and watch history in the making
“It’s fun and it’s just an exciting day just to watch the American princess,” said Teena Marie Talachy.
“We like the whole thing how Meghan Markle, how she’s kind of breaking all normalcy for the royals, said Tirone.
