ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – Trick or Treating may not be on everyone’s to-do list for Halloween and one local tour group has just the event for those looking to get spooked.
The Albucreepy Downtown Ghost Walk is not only fun for Halloween, but also year round.
Albucreepy Tour Guides, Blake Starr and Jordan Jonas, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to discuss the haunted tour.
It’s a 1.3-mile walking tour of the haunted sites and history of downtown. It stops at places like the KiMo Theatre, and includes a stroll through Hell’s Half-acre, which is Albuquerque’s old red light district.
The tour begins at the downtown box office, The Factory, which is actually located in the Banque Lofts building, the basement of that building is said to be haunted. So the tour begins by taking guests down into the basement to see if any paranormal activity occurs.
Tours are year round, and there have been additional tours added for the Halloween season. The rest of the year, tours are given on Fridays and Saturday.\
