ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A local non-profit is getting some help from the community to end child homelessness and hunger.
CLN Kids is a non-profit that’s been helping the homeless get back on their feed for nearly three decades. On Wednesday, Cricket Wireless brought two cars filled with food around 100 coats and other clothing items to hand out.
“The majority of our team is from New Mexico, and so this is our community. And so not only is it our social responsibility, but it’s also our way of showing that we love New Mexico and that we want to be here,” said Cricket Wireless spokesperson Rebekah Vallejos.
The donation was made possible by a community food drive.
