Albuquerque Car Cruisers came together to help local children in need.

The Little Big Man Benefit Car Show and Concert rolled into a neighborhood near Bridge and Goff Sunday afternoon.

Classic cars from around the state strutted their stuff along with performances from local music artists.

Half of the proceeds went directly to the UNM Children’s Hospital.

The Olivas family was inspired to put on the benefit after the hospital helped their son Marcos Jr. with an illness.

“I truly believe that if it wasn’t for them, he wouldn’t be here today. On numerous occasions did they save his life. So very grateful,” said Megas Olivas.

The other proceeds are helping the Olivas family with medical expenses.
