Local attorney enters Albuquerque’s mayor race

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Another candidate has entered the race to become Albuquerque’s next mayor.

Local attorney Brian Colon unveiled a platform Wednesday that focuses on job creation, public safety and education.

State Auditor Tim Keller, along with other Democrats, Deanna Archuleta, a former Bernalillo County Commissioner, and retiree Stella Padilla are also in the race.

Republican City Councilor Dan Lewis and retired Police Detective Michelle Garcia Holmes, an independent, announced their candidacies earlier this month.
