ESPAÑOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – A former teacher in northern New Mexico accused of sexually abusing a former student is facing new allegations.
In a federal lawsuit, a former student accused Gary Gregor of sexual abuse while she was a student of his in Española.
Gregor was facing similar allegations in 2014 after a family filed a lawsuit claiming Gregor assaulted their daughter. In both cases, the alleged victims say school administrators knew of Gregor’s inappropriate behavior but refused to take action.
According to the suits, Gregor also had a history of this in Utah where he used to be a teacher. They also accused the district of failing to properly check his background.
Gregor had his teaching license revoked in 2010.
