Lawmakers ask to make space agency headquarters in New Mexico

New Mexico’s congressional delegations are hoping a new space agency will make its home in the state.

Both U.S. senators and all three representatives of New Mexico sent a letter to acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan. They are asking the Department to consider New Mexico as a host for the agency which will be responsible for space research and development for the military.

In their letter lawmakers highlight assets like the national labs.
