ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – PNM is stepping up its security measures to better protect itself from cyberattacks.
New Mexico’s largest electricity provider says it receives an average of 4,000 attempted cyberattacks to its power grid each day. This year, PNM upgraded to an automated system to better ward them off.
PNM says threats to the grid are also becoming more sophisticated.
