The New Mexico State University and Sandia National Labs have signed an official document establishing their intent to continue a partnership for the next ten years.

The signing is a continuation of the current relationship between the two which officials say fosters research, offers unique opportunities for NMSU students and faculty and also creates qualified job candidates for work at Sandia.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed Wednesday, April 10 at the Lobo Rainforest Building. Representatives from Sandia National Labs as well as NMSU including NMSU Chancellor Dan Arvizu and NMSU Chief of Staff Lenny Martinez were in attendance.
