TUESDAY: Showers and storms will continue to diminish through late day as drier air moves in from west to east. Clearing and calming conditions are settling in across majority of the state — areas east near the TX/NM stateline will likely see a few more pop up showers and weak thunderstorms by the end of the day. We will have to watch for a few isolated strong to severe storms near the TX/NM stateline.
WEDNESDAY: Overall, we’ll head into midweek on a quiet note with mostly sunny conditions and near average temperatures filling in area-wide. Winds will start to kick up once again – expect speeds to range from 15-25mph by late day.
THURSDAY: A cold front will make its way in over the Northeastern Plains, giving way to another round of scattered storms and showers over eastern NM. Strong, east winds will squeeze through the canyons and over the Albuquerque-metro area.
