FRIDAY: Afternoon highs will be a good 5-15 degrees warmer than Thursday leaving most of us in the 60s and 70s (even a few 80s across far southeastern New Mexico). Plenty of sunshine will be seen statewide with only a few high passing clouds streaming overhead. Winds will be light out of the north-northwest with speeds keeping between 5-15 mph for most of the day (bumped to 10-20 mph during the late afternoon hours).
SATURDAY: An absolutely gorgeous day across the Land of Enchantment with temperatures soaring well above average for many. What could shape up to be our warmest day of 2015 thus far, Albuquerque looks to be near (if not hit) 80 degrees by the late afternoon. Clear, sunny conditions will settle in over the region.
SUNDAY: A touch more cloud cover and wind can be expected to finish up the weekend. Sky conditions will flirt between mostly to partly sunny across the state with winds a bit breezy for some of us. The good news is temperatures will stay put in the 60s, 70s and 80s for all of us.
NEXT WEEK: A tricky forecast next week as we watch for another system nearing the state. More cloud cover and breezy conditions will return by late Sunday into Monday with a few pop up showers possible Monday afternoon.
More details on next week’s weather-maker as we get closer but for now, get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine!
