Local charities got a boost just in time for the holidays, thanks to Keller Williams Realty.
The company’s annual golf tournament raises money for nonprofits around New Mexico.
This year, they presented a total of $36,000 to three organizations supporting homeless families and kids in need.
The director of Casa Esperanza says the money is especially helpful this year since damage from the big hail storm back in August forced the facility to close.
“We expect to be open early 2019 with a brand new kitchen, new family rooms and really get back to helping New Mexicans,” said Daniel Jaeks with Casa Esperanza.
Money also went to the nonprofits CLN Kids and Casa Kids.
