The parents accused of prostituting their 7-year-old daughter will stay locked up until trial.
The court heard three days of testimony about James Stewart and Teri Sanchez.
Judge Alisia Hart said there was abundant evidence from investigators, school workers and others that the girl and her siblings were victims of not just physical and sexual abuse, but ongoing neglect.
She pointed the finger at Stewart as the driving force.
Judge Hart said she believes the Sanchez is vulnerable to coercion and even if she were released, Stewart would likely control her behavior from behind bars.
Both are being held without bond until trial.
