A judge refused to reconsider the sentence for a teen convicted for his role in the murder of Steven Gerecke.
Christopher Rodriquez was part of a group of teens who were there when Jeremiah King opened fire on Gerecke in his driveway in 2015.
Only King and Rodriguez were sentenced as adults. In August, Rodriguez was sentenced to 14 years.
Friday Rodriquez and his family pleaded with Judge Brett Loveless to consider a lighter sentence and argued that he had a tough upbringing, but has turned his life around.
Judge Loveless denied the request.
