Colder air pours into the state today and tonight. Expect the coldest morning we’ve seen so far this season when you wake up Thursday. Temperatures will start in the single digits across much of the north. Albuquerque will drop to the low 20s, as will much of the south. A frigid start will mean for a cold afternoon, with temperatures only warming by about 20° throughout the day.
Temperatures will slowly rebound into the weekend. Expect sunny skies through at least early next week. Unfortunately, the current weather pattern is keeping storms to our north through Colorado. Though we will not see much snow over the next week or so, the cold temperatures and dry air at night will be great snow making weather for the resorts.
