John’s Thursday Afternoon Forecast

News

The next storm for the weekend is still expected to go north of the state. However, that doesn’t mean we won’t still be impacted by this storm. Though high pressure will move overhead to end the week, ensuring warm temperatures, moisture will sneak under the high ahead of the storm system. This will give the west a shot at a few showers and storms Friday afternoon.

As the storm passes north over the weekend, expect the winds to crank up. Another storm will pass north of the state early next week, keeping the windy conditions around through the middle of next week. Currently, our next real shot at a storm hitting the state with more meaningful rainfall is the end of April.
