Drier air will take hold across the state for the first half of the work week. Expect plenty of sunshine, but breezy conditions with a westerly flow over the state that will turn southwesterly on Wednesday. Temperatures will also remain above average most of the workweek.

A storm system is expected to drop down late this week and into the weekend. With it comes a better chance of showers and storms as well as cooler temperatures.
