Jaydon Chavez-Silver’s parents sue 911 dispatcher for hanging up


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The parents of Jaydon Chavez-Silver are suing the dispatcher who hung up on a 911 call pleading for help as the teen was dying.

Matthew Sanchez hung up on a teenager who was trying to help the Manzano High School student who had been shot during a drive-by at a house party.

Chavez-Silver later died and Sanchez eventually resigned.

Nicole Chavez and Ronald Silver, Jaydon’s parents, have now filed a wrongful death suit against Sanchez, claiming medical negligence and malpractice.
