The chefs at Isotopes Park have special surprise cooked up for Wednesday’s Fourth of July game.
The green chile glazed donut burger is the brainchild of executive chef Ryan Curry and Rebel Donut.
Wednesday and Friday, fans can take a sweet and savory bit into a beef patty topped with classic New Mexico green chile and sandwiched between two green chile glazed donuts.
“We’re really excited about it. You know, bringing out the fire and the sweet, and putting them together and creating a really good treat for our fans,” Ryan Curry said.
Friday, the players will be wearing special green chile cheeseburger uniforms and fans will have a chance to snag a green chile cheeseburger bobble head.
The burger will be available both Wednesday and Friday.
