ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – IT officials at the University of New Mexico are trying to figure out what caused a campus wide internet outage Monday.
The internet has since been restored, but the outage caused long lines at the bookstore and email and websites were offline. The campus director of IT says he doesn’t think it was caused by an influx of students, but it’s too early to say.
