Long live the legend of the Yeti. The Indian Army discovered mysterious footprints in the Himalayas they believe belong to bigfoot.

Tuesday, military officials posted what they call photographic evidence of the mythical beast. The footprints were reportedly found in the snow near Makalu base camp on April 9 and measured 32 inches by 15 inches.

The camp is in a mountainous region in an area between Tibet and Nepal. The army announced on March 26 that a unit of 18 would be in an expedition to Mount Makalu as part of an objective to reach peaks above 8,000 meters (26,247 feet).

In their tweet, the army says, “This elusive snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past.” They said the evidence has been handed over to experts for scientific evaluation.
