Impromptu art project appears at Santa Fe Plaza

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – An impromptu art project popped up this week in Santa Fe.

Two blank canvases were set up on the Plaza on Wednesday and people were encouraged to paint anything positive on them.

More than 230 people from ages 11-months to 92-years old, from 12 different countries added their flair to the project.

It’s called “The Paint in the Moment” project, and it’s the brainchild of Brian Liu and Isaac Casados.

It’s the first of its kind in Santa Fe and is meant to give people a break from their hectic lives while fostering communication between people of all walks of life.
