Tread Heads put on their favorite costume during a unique event celebrating the Halloween season.
Hundreds of people showed up to this year’s Day of the Tread at Civic Plaza.
Cyclists from around the county competed in 9, 12, 26, 64 and 100-mile races Sunday.
Day of the Tread sticks out because it calls on cyclists to bring their best Day of the Dead inspired costume.
“It’s fun. It’s a great way to enjoy and get out. It doesn’t matter what you look like because everyone looks the same if not a little bit funnier,” says John Stikar, attendee.
Day of the Tread benefits various non-profit organizations.
