SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe Public Schools has suspended some high school basketball players as police investigate a possible sex crime.
The Santa Fe High School assistant principal called police last week to investigate a voyeurism case.
A police report said a 14-year-old girl told the assistant principal she recently had sex with three students at once, but had to come forward to make sure a fourth young man didn’t get blamed.
The report does not explain why police are looking into voyeurism charges. No one has been charged in the case.
The superintendent confirmed some basketball players have been suspended for the rest of the season, but said federal law keeps her from commending further.
