Hector Munoz ready to headline at National Hispanic Cultural Center

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Hector Munoz is excited about fighting at home. He is also excited about fighting at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Munoz will face Hector Garza of Harlingen, Texas as the co-main event June 18. M

unoz said he is excited to fight at 148 pounds for the first time in 4 years. He said that is his natural fighting weight.

So far, Munoz has two fights scheduled for this year. At the age of 38, he is getting closer to time to shut it down. His wife would love to see that happen.

“I was about to retire my last fight but, I can’t give in,” said Munoz.” I love the sport too much. The wife wants me to retire but, she gave me a chance. This postpones my retirement a little bit.”
