New jobs are coming to the Intel plant in Rio Rancho.
The governor announced Monday that the company is moving part of its 3-D technology development to the site.
The move will mean the addition of about 100 new jobs.
It’s been some time since new jobs came to Intel. Over the last decade, hundreds of jobs from Rio Rancho have been moved to other Intel sites or cut altogether.
In 2017, the plant was down to 1,200 workers. At its peak, it employed more than 5,000 people.
