ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson held a rally at the University of New Mexico on Thursday night. It’s part of his campaign for president.

Johnson announced his candidacy for the libertarian party back in January. Johnson has run before, in 2012, where he got more than one million votes.

A Monmouth University poll released in late March shows support from 11 percent of voters in a three-way matchup with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Johnson heads to Minnesota on Friday.
