Forum will focus on career options in substance abuse treatment

Local students will have an opportunity to explore future career options in substance abuse treatment.

New Mexico’s Behavioral Health Services Division and the University of New Mexico will host workforce forums for the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors.

The forum is open to local high school students and will educate them on what it takes to become a professional in the mental health and substance abuse workplace.

The forum will be held on April 14 at the Domenici Education Center at UNM.
