Former Gov. Gary Johnson to hold rally in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson is expected to speak in Albuquerque this week.

The Libertarian presidential nominee is set to speak at the Convention Center Thursday night.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 4:30 p.m.

Johnson has been trying to get to 15 percent in the polls which would allow him to be in the presidential debates.

This weekend, Johnson picked up his first congressional endorsement. GOP representative Scott Rigell announced in the New York Times on Saturday that he would vote for Johnson.
