A hiker had to be rescued from the Sandia Mountains Monday.
Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office deputies say a man experienced a medical episode on the Pino Trail.
The metro air support unit arrived on-scene and lifted him up to a medical helicopter so he could be taken to a hospital.
The man’s condition is unknown.
