A father is accused of driving drunk to an East Mountains school to pick up his daughter.

Deputies arrested Scott Forward Monday near A. Montoya Elementary after they say he got into a crash and attempted to flee.

Inside the car was his 11-month old daughter.

According to a criminal complaint, after crashing his car, Forward drove to the elementary school to pick up his other daughter.

However, before he could do that, deputies found him.

They say he was clearly drunk and blew at least .16 on a breath test, which is two times the legal limit.

Forward is charged with child abuse and aggravated DWI.
