Fatal Santa Fe workplace accident prompts investigation

News

The city of Santa Fe is investigating a workplace accident that caused an employee to be electrocuted.

A city spokesperson confirms 28-year-old Tobin Williams was working on some lights at the convention center on Monday when it happened. He was hospitalized but has since died.

They say Williams was hired in September 2018 and was part of the operations team. Police say OSHA and Risk Management is investigating what went wrong.
