Farmington police roll out new program to fight crime


FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – Farmington Police are taking a new approach to fighting property crime in the city.

The department is now using a program called “impact teams” led by a corporal, detectives and three other positions.

They will carry out monthly operations by focusing on data to fight property crime in various areas across Farmington.

The program started in September and has already resulted in dozens of arrests.
