The family of the baby who died in CYFD custody says they made complaints prior to his death.

Six-month-old David Zuver and another child were placed in CYFD custody after their parents, David Zuber and Monique Romero, were arrested earlier this year.

The couple is accused of burying their 1-year-old daughter, Anastazia Zuber, in a backyard after they say she drowned in a bathtub.

According to the family’s attorney, Zuber and Romero went to visit the 6-month-old Thursday morning when they were told the boy had died. Their lawyer claims in the days leading up to his death, the family sent complaints to CYFD about the foster placement.

Police say it could take weeks to determine how the baby died.
