ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Science isn’t always the most popular subject, but there’s one museum trying to change that.
Explora, a museum described as part science center and part kids museum, joined KRQE’s This Morning team to demonstrate a fun, “Cool Science” experiment.
This week, Randy Pedro and Conlin Chino with Explora demonstrated a hairs raising experiment. Watch above.
Pedro an Chino used an electricity generator called Van De Graaff, which demonstrated the wonders of electricity and how an electric spark can create a film canister rocket.
Explora is hosting a Halloween event called, “Spooky Science.” This will be held Monday, October 31 from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. and costumes are encouraged.
Also, enjoy “Science on Tap” at O’Niell’s Pub in Nob Hill. Guests can enjoy discussions with local scientists to their daily duties and experiments.
