UNM to help teachers bring computer science to the classroom

Teachers from all across the state are taking on the role of students this week at the University of New Mexico.

It’s part of the inaugural New Mexico Computer Science Professional Development Week

The goal is to help teachers bring computer science to their classrooms, which is a growing need in the increasingly technical world.

According to the Computer Science Association, there are only about 10 teachers in the state who teach computer science full time.
