A middle school robotics team was honored for their hard work Friday morning.
Back in April, the team from Cleveland Middle School was preparing for an international robotics competition.
Friday, Attorney General Hector Balderas honored their work and the pride they brought to New Mexico.
Parents hope their success will help bring more programs like this to the state.
“So they really got to see how important it is not just to be part of our city and our state, but the greater global community of robotics and how important that communication is,”
The students competed against teams from Russia, Saudi Arabia, China, Guatemala, Bermuda, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Bahrain.
