Bills aims to improve broadband access for remote learning

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Lawmakers are proposing a bill that would help make remote learning a little easier. Senate Bill 144 would allow the Public School Capital Outlay Council to give grant money from the Public School Outlay fund for broadband projects. The goal is to make better internet more accessible for schoolwork whether it’s happening on campus or remotely.
