ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Eastside Animal Shelter is getting a much-needed facelift.
“Kennel D” will receive a number of improvements, as well as the addition of a new 1600-square-foot building auxiliary building. It will include twenty kennels that will also serve to quarantine sick animals.
The project is estimated to cost $1.5 million. It’s funded by General Obligation bonds and state capital outlay.
Construction will start early next year.
