Earth Day celebrated throughout Albuquerque

New Mexicans celebrated the planet Saturday on Earth Day.

At the Albuquerque Botanic Gardens, the Children’s Seed Festival gave kids a chance to see firsthand where their food comes from. They learned how to plant veggies and made a seed ball to take home and plant.

In Nob Hill, local farmers, artists and vendors came together for the annual EarthFest. At the event, people celebrated the outdoors and conservation efforts with the local food, arts and music.
