Drought conditions get worse in New Mexico

New Mexico’s drought conditions are only getting worse.

Currently, about 64 percent of the state is experiencing extreme drought.

Officials say that’s a jump from last week, which was 55 percent.

This has been one of the longest stretches New Mexico has seen without significant rain.
