ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) –  A new documentary, “The Life, Blood, and Rhythm of Randy Castillo,” is premiering at the KiMo Theater on Thursday. Famous local drummer Randy Castillo is at the heart of it. The film chronicles his life from the beginning to the end and the people he impacted along the way. He began playing drums at an early age. His early career began after he graduated from West Mesa High School in Albuquerque. He climbed to the top playing with Lita Ford, Ozzy Osbourne and Motley Crue before he fought the greatest battle of his life.

In 2002, he lost his battle with squamous cell carcinoma, but his story lives on through his friends, family and loved ones. The film is a part of the Albuquerque Film and Media Experience. Learn more about it by visiting the documentary’s website.
