CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – A plane that crashed after hitting a TV tower in Lubbock, Texas, took off from New Mexico.
News sources confirmed that one of the victims on board is Dr. Kenneth Mike Rice. There’s no word on how many others were on board.
The plane had taken off from Carlsbad on Wednesday.
KCBD reports it was knocked off the air after the plane cut the tower in half.
No one in the station was hurt, but the building was evacuated as a precaution.
