The Red and Green Veg Fest is a celebration of compassion, gourmet food, and empathy for all.

The Red and Green Veg Fest–Albuquerque is a project of HeartnSole, LLC, and advocates for peace and respect for humans and non-humans alike. The goal is to inspire people to bring forth their compassion and develop empathy for animals and move towards a plant-based diet — without sacrificing flavor!  

Local Chef Shawn Weed of The Acre Restaurant demonstrated a fun, easy and delicious pickling recipe, illustrating the types of activities taking place at the informative festival this weekend.

The Red and Green Veg Fest–Albuquerque is centered on the following core values:
