UNM has partnered with Dion’s to challenge kids to solve a real-world problem — how to preserve the restaurant’s iconic dressings long enough to ship them out of state.
It’s called the “Keep It Cool Challenge.” The idea is to make it practical for New Mexicans to share the taste of Dion’s with friends and family across the U.S.
The contest launches with a meeting on Sep. 20. Then students present their ideas at an expo in October.
The winner gets a cash prize and free Dion’s for a year.
