Are you down in the dumps after all the holiday activity?

A new British study says going to the movies, the museum or cultural events can help you ward off the blues.

The English Longitudinal Study of Aging says elderly can cut their depression risk by 32 percent by going to cultural activities every few months. If they go at least once a month, the risk appears to drop by a whopping 48 percent.

It’s believed such activities also lower the risk of dementia, chronic pain and even premature death.
