Data breach affects utility payments for some residents in Clovis

News

CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – A suspected data breach is making it harder for residents in Clovis to pay some of their utility bills. A third-party merchant that handles the city’s credit card payments suspected a data breach, so they’ve shut down the system.

Right now, the city is not accepting any credit card payments for things like sewer or trash. The city says at this point, it doesn’t appear any Clovis customers were affected by the breach but the city can get you in touch with the company if you’re concerned.
