Two parents involved in a shooting at Highland High School got restraining orders against each other.
Last month, police say Alex Placencio and Juan Saucedo didn’t know each other, but got in a fight while waiting to pick up their kids after school.
Witness video shows Placencio swinging a bat at Saucedo.
At some point, APD says Saucedo pulled out a gun and shot Placencio.
Both men recovered and have since asked for a restraining order against each other.
Each can still pick up their kids at Highland High, but Placencio has to stay on the eastside of the school, while Saucedo will stay on the westside.
APD hasn’t said what the fight was over, but say they’ll charge the dads with felony public affray.
